Brown Family Reunion 2011 - Orlando, FL

So the reunion was great. Uncle Eddie and Aunt Carolyn never cease to amaze me with their generosity and ability to make us feel right at home, whether it's just us or 100+ guests. I assume we all feel that way. :)
We had such a great time visiting with family, meeting cousins we didn't know we had (that's what you do at reunions, right???) I speak for me and my kids here. They love getting to hang with other boys in the family...no matter how far removed their "relation" may be, a friend is a friend...and at my boys ages, they make em fast! :) I love that.
So between the boat ride, delicious southern food & deserts, bounce houses and catching up our day was off to an amazing start!
The kids at the front of the boat... LOVING it!

Uncle Eddie driving the boat. You can see his house and bounce house in the back ground.
Ava, Sela & (probably) relatives bouncing away.
Some of my favorite people in the whole wide world...my dad "Dude" and my daughters, Ava & Sela.

So this was our super fun day...last Saturday until the phone call...
The call that stopped our world for a moment.
A call that makes  you step outside your entitled attitude and jump immediately into an attitude of a servant... it was a call that reminds that all you want is not in your hands.
