Happy Birthday Caleb!

Caleb is 6! For some reason it's hard to believe...he's such a sweet & good boy but he is my baby boy...and he's growing up!
Caleb's birthday celebration started on the 9th...the day before his birthday when Grammy & Dude stopped by to give him some presents and lovin' before Dude had to head off to the Garden state.
We kept the party going on the 10th, his actual birthday with a day off from school & spent that time at Chuck E Cheese's with Grammy. All the kids loved that. After, we came home and had Caleb's birthday dinner... HotDogs, Mac N Cheese, deviled eggs (grilled chicken sandwiches for the non hotdog lovers) and his "surprise" birthday cake, which he LOVED b/c it was blue inside!

Then we went to Disney on Saturday...Rob, Caleb & I at the Magic Kingdom. Of course, it was magical. Unfortunately our camera is no bueno, so all we had was rob's iphone to document our super day. Caleb (nor I) had been since he was 9 months old and it was so much fun to get to see it through his eyes this time. He loved Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain...lots of action & drops & speed. Not my thing, I was hoping for a go round on the people mover but no...no such luck for me. ;) It was super fun though and he was quite proud of himself that he could read MOST of the signs at the park. That makes me a very happy homeschooling mommy...knowing our hard work is paying off.

After Disney, we went out to dinner. Caleb wanted taco's so we went to Chevy's. Terrible...terrible terrible.... the only positive about that was the sombrero they put on his head when they brought him some birthday luvin'!

FINALLY on Sunday afternoon it was party time. Caleb LOVES skateboards, bikes, scooters...anything that can make him a little faster makes him happy. So we asked his guests to bring their own (&helmets of course) to join in the fun. I think everyone had a great time. They raced, had contests where they earned candy, bounced in the bounce house & played in the sand...cake & presents seemed almost a nuisance to the kids this time. Odd...whatever, they all slept great once it was over and have sweet memories of it now. That was the point, right?

Hope you enjoy the pictures from his party!
I'll add more as I get them, as well as the one's from his actual birthday & Disney...or check them out on my FB page if I'm taking too long.
